Huawei Expands Display Technology with the Pura X View After Pioneering Foldable Phones

Huawei has officially introduced a fresh take on smartphone screens with the Pura X View. This device breaks away from traditional shapes by offering an unusually wide aspect ratio on a standard, non-folding body. The Chinese technology giant is no stranger to experimenting with screen hardware. Years ago, the company made headlines when it released one of the first commercial 5G phones featuring a screen that could physically bend.

The OLED panel produces bright and vivid colors, hitting up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness. A very narrow 1.05-millimeter border surrounds the screen, which helps maximize the viewing area.
